Day of the Climate Professional

The Day of the Climate Professional (DCP) is an annual date, November 24, to celebrate, convene, and catalyze professionals (young to old) accelerating solutions to the climate crisis. The 2020 inaugural edition of the Day of the Climate Professional will be marked by an all-day virtual summit #24onthe24 of networking activities, keynote presentations, interactive Q&As, and a climate career fair.

Convening those currently working on the climate agenda and those looking to join them, the DCP will foster connectivity while stimulating reflections and actions on the interdisciplinarity of climate change, its urgency, and the importance of working to tackle it through varied professions and sectors of society. Supported by Youth Climate Leaders and a global coalition of climate champions, the Day will mobilize 20,000 participants and 100+ organizations from 10+ countries to take climate action by increasing access points and engagement in the climate economy.
