You are invited to an online master class organised by the Heat Academy in cooperation with Stoke-on-Trent College on 15th May. The key question in focus is why it is critical to make buildings zero-carbon ready by connecting them to heat networks. Now, not later.

District Energy is a key component in strategies of decarbonising heating and cooling. As heat networks expand, more and more property owners and managers will be faced with the decision if, how and when to connect buildings to the grids. Converting a large estate, public or commercial, from a gas solution to a heat network is a major step. The messages may be attractive in terms of decarbonisation, convenience and price certainty. But before taking a final decision it is critical to be fully informed on all aspects of a system and how to manage it. The session will consist of presentations and a panel discussion, and will involve participants with long and proven experience in heat networks in the UK and abroad – operators, developers and property managers.

The session is offered free of charge.
