t an affordable small scale district heat network based on biomass residues sourced from local forestry or farming activities. We will apply the various solutions and technologies available to take a BioHeat project from the initial vision, through business modelling, technical design through funding and installation and into installations and operations. We will also highlight the professional and vocational skills required, and how a local training platform can be developed in collaboration with local colleges and universities. Another topic addressed is how such investments overtime can be beneficial to local economic growth, job creation and improving local resilience and welfare. The sessions are developed and delivered in collaboration with Jamie Stephen at TorchLight Bioresources
