Optit srl was born in 2007 as an academic spin-off of the Alma Mater University of Bologna. In 2010 expertise in management consulting was added to the Optit portfolio, leading the organisation to become an important player in in the development of innovative decision support systems based on mathematical modelling, in addition to operations research and data science.
