Partnerships & Coalitions
Euroheat & Power partners with various organisations and initiatives such as the International Energy Agency (IEA DHC/CHP implementing agreement), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP District Energy in Cities), BUILD Up, EU Sustainable Energy Week, Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) and Cooling4All. We also work together with networks such as Decarb Heat and Decarb Europe.
 | The Technology Collaboration Programme on District Heating and Cooling including Combined Heat and Power, deals with the design, performance and operation of distribution systems and consumer installations. The Agreement is dedicated to helping to make district heating and cooling and combined heat and power powerful tools for energy conservation and the reduction of environmental impacts of supplying heat. The programme offers a platform for online reports and an exchange of best practices. |
 | The District Energy in Cities Initiative is a multi-stakeholder partnership coordinated by UN Environment. The Initiative supports local and national governments to build know-how and implement enabling policies that will accelerate investment in low-carbon and climate-resilient district energy systems. |
 | The BUILD UP initiative was established by the European Commission in 2009 to support EU Member States in implementing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). The BUILD UP web portal is intended to reap the benefits of Europe's collective intelligence on energy reduction in buildings for all relevant audiences. It will bring together new practitioners and professional associations while motivating them to exchange best working practices and knowledge and to transfer tools and resources. It targets professionals working in the building sector (public or private) with an interest on the latest developments at technical or practice level, policy legislation, financial issues, etc related to energy efficiency. |
 | The Policy Conference is the biggest European conference dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe. Sessions organised by the European Commission and energy stakeholders focus on sustainable energy issues, debate new policy developments, best practices and sustainable energy ideas. Next to the conference, the Networking Village brings the EUSEW Community together to forge alliances whilst the EUSEW Awards celebrate outstanding projects and ideas. |
 | Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL) is an International Organization working with leaders in government, the private sector and civil society to drive further, faster action toward achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 7, which calls for universal access to sustainable energy by 2030, and the Paris Climate Agreement, which calls for reducing greenhouse gas emissions to limit climate warming to below 2 degrees Celsius. |
 | The Decarb Heat initiative brings together for the first time the major players of the heating and cooling industry and other major stakeholders. Together they can make the vision of a 100% decarbonised European heating and cooling system reality. The aim is a joint action linking the potential of industry, as expressed in the industry commitment, a policy framework and market conditions and broad support by other energy-stakeholders to the vision. |
 | The goal of DecarbEurope is to engage decision-makers in policy and industry with solutions that can, in a cost-effective manner, decarbonize Europe at the scale and speed that is needed to achieve our climate goals. As an ecosystem of 20 sectors—and growing—the initiative connects technologies, policies, and markets in a cross-sector roadmap towards a low-carbon economy. Partners of DecarbEurope commit themselves to the common values that are driving this transition: decarbonization, cost-effectiveness, circularity, sector-coupling, and consumer engagement. |
 | Energy Monitor is part of the New Statesman Media Group. Our mission is to explain how the world is changing for decision makers in need of data-driven answers. We help our readers to make decisions and lead effectively using the same rigour and quality journalism for which the New Statesman has long been admired.
We are a non-partisan voice examining the data and politics behind the move away from fossil fuels and the embrace of renewables and energy efficiency. We examine how countries and companies can reduce emissions in line with the Paris climate agreement while ensuring a just transition. |
 | If we are going to avoid catastrophic climate change, we need the right science and technology, policies and financing. The energy transition is heading in the right direction, but everything needs to speed and scale up. For business, finance and policy leaders to make this happen they need intelligence not information, evidence not assumption, data not headlines. This is where FORESIGHT comes in.
FORESIGHT is the essential read on the global transition to a decarbonised energy economy. FORESIGHT publishes articles on barriers and solutions to the energy transition globally focused on Business, Policy, Markets, Technology and Cities, and regularly publishes opinions from energy transition thought leaders. FORESIGHT also publishes a high quality print edition twice a year. FORESIGHT's readers are mainly policy makers, energy experts in business and finance, city leaders, and leading non-governmental organisations, who need to understand how the energy transition can be achieved in a fast and affordable way. |
Our DHC+ Technology Platform is a proud member of ETIP SNET, the European Forum for Renewable Energy Sources (EUFORES) as well as the Renewable Heating and Cooling European Technology Platform.
 | European Technology & Innovation Platforms (ETIPs) have been created by the European Commission in the framework of the new Integrated Roadmap Strategic Energy Technology Plan (SET Plan) by bringing together a multitude of stakeholders and experts from the energy sector. Its role is to guide Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) to support Europe’s energy transition. |
 | EUFORES was founded in 1995 as an independent non-profit organisation aiming at promoting renewable energy sources and energy efficiency in the European Union. EUFORES is a European parliamentary network with Members from all major political groups in the European Parliament as well as in the national and regional Parliaments of the EU Member States. Apart from the Members of Parliament, EUFORES is supported by a broad range of non-parliamentary members - renewable energy companies and associations, scientific institutes, energy agencies, NGOs and individuals who are strongly committed to renewable energy and energy efficiency. EUFORES serves as a communication platform for exchanging information and expertise, bringing relevant stakeholders together to promote renewable energy sources and energy efficiency in the European Union and to transform best practice into coherent legislation for Europe. |
 | The European Technology and Innovation Platform on Renewable Heating & Cooling (RHC-ETIP) brings together stakeholders from the biomass, geothermal, solar thermal and heat pump sectors – including the related industries such as district heating and cooling, thermal energy storage, and hybrid systems – to define a common strategy for increasing the use of renewable energy technologies for heating and cooling. |
