CELSIUS and the coolingEU forum joined forces to organise the webinar on sustainable cooling for cities: CELSIUS Talk: Clean cold for cool cities on Monday, November 5 at 14:00 CET.

2016 was the warmest year on record and the temperature of cities continues to increase. This is due to the heat island phenomenon and the undeniable climate change. But how can we cool our citizens in a warming world while also keeping the cities cold? What are the opportunities that district cooling can offer to the cities of today and tomorrow? And what are the challenges?

During this short but intensive webinar, experts in city planning and operation of district cooling networks, shared their perspectives and ideas on how to build cool cities – followed by an open debate with the audience.
