6th Global District Energy Climate Awards – Applications Close Sep 16th!

Do you have a story to tell? We invite you to apply for the 6th Global District Energy Climate Awards! Applications are welcome in six categories: new schemes, modernisation, expansion, emerging markets, district energy in developing countries, and ‘out of the box’. The awards provide global recognition for district energy schemes demonstrating a high level of energy efficiency and innovation, so show us what you’ve been up to!

Applications are open until the 16th of September, 2019!

Since they were launched in 2009, the Global District Energy Climate Awards have offered visibility and recognition to many communities, cities and campuses around the world that have embraced district energy as a vital part of their sustainability planning. On the 24th of October 2019, the 6th edition of the awards will be held in Iceland during the very first Sustainable District Energy Conference. (www.sdec.is) High-level representatives from business, government and civil society will come together to share ideas and experiences and to see first-hand how district energy is delivering on its promise of enabling a better and more efficient energy transition.
