LOGSTOR has signalled its determination to expand in the UK by setting up a UK subsidiary with business premises based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

It is an important step being closer to the customers and market, having a platform for further customer intimacy and small goods stock. With the UK registration, LOGSTOR will be able to market its products out of a UK company and will thus follow a market trend with increased focus on the footprints of UK suppliers, which will only be enforced by the Brexit.

It is clear that the UK’s appetite for sustainable energy solutions is very strong. Recently, we have benefited from this push and have supplied pipes to some of the UK’s first and largest award winning district energy projects that produce a low cost and highly efficient heat supply. The Brexit decision has not changed our commitment to championing smarter heating for the UK and we consider the present timing to be perfect.

Christopher Hill, who has been promoted from Sales Manager to Managing Director, is in control of the LOGSTOR UK office. With him leading the way, the business has quickly established a strong UK presence, and in recent years, and he has managed to build up an extensive network of clients – consisting of local authorities, universities and heat network providers – in England, Wales and Scotland, to form a significant part of the overall LOGSTOR presence across 30 countries.

LOGSTOR’s investment in the UK also invites to an expansion of the team. Therefore, Christopher Best has joined as Technical Manager. Together, they are excited to be driving LOGSTOR’s expansion plans in the UK.
