Savo-Solar Plc has received from Oulun Seudun Sähkö (energy company of Oulu Region) an order for a solar thermal system. When completed, the system with a collector area of more than 350 square metres in Ankkurilahti, Liminka will be the biggest solar collector field in Finland. The delivery will be a turn-key installation, which in addition to the actual collector field also consists of water storages, automation system and other technical components installed inside the plant, as well as of the integration to existing district heating network. The installation area is located less than 200 kilometres from the Polar Circle, and this is a proof of the fact that it is possible to construct profitable solar thermal solutions also in the very north. The delivery is due to take place during summer 2018.

Savo-Solar further delivers to Energi-Center Nordic in Stockholm solar collectors of a total of 134 square metres for a solar thermal field which will be constructed on the rooftop. The delivery is estimated to take place in April 2018.

The total value of the deliveries is approximately EUR 200,000.
