Savosolar to expand solar district heating field in Jelling

Savosolar and Jelling Varmevaerk signed a contract of 0.7 MEUR for an extension of the existing solar thermal field delivered by Savosolar in 2016.

Manufacturing of the collectors may begin immediately. The delivery of the field is expected to take place mostly during 2018 and the hand over by May 2019 at the latest.

Savosolar CEO Jari Varjotie noted: “We are extremely proud that Jelling has decided to extend their solar thermal system delivered by Savosolar, which is a brilliant landmark in their village. For us the extension in Jelling is the best possible sign of the customer being satisfied with the performance of the system, and we thank Jelling Varmevaerk for the trust they show to us by doing this investment.”
