Swedenergy and Swedish District Heating Association Form New Association

The two associations Swedenergy (Svensk Energi) and Swedish District Heating Association (Svensk Fjärrvärme) have formed a new industry association – Swedenergy (Energiföretagen Sverige).

The member companies of the former associations are behind the creation of the new industry association with the aim to focus on the entire energy system. Swedenergy (Energiföretagen Sverige) was brought into effect immediately after extra annual meetings on April 6.

In the case all former member companies are joining the new association some 400 member companies will be represented by Swedenergy (Energiföretagen Sverige). Pernilla Winnhed, former CEO of Swedenergy (Svensk Energi) is the CEO of the new industry association. Monica Karlsson, CEO at Halmstads Energi och Miljö, is the Chairman.
